Since yesterday, we have been tracking a widespread service degradation with the DNS registrar Register.com, which may be where your site’s DNS records are located if your website is currently offline.
Register.com is aware of the issue, although details are sparse. Their Twitter account has been active in responding to customers to acknowledge the problem, though they have not been able to give an estimate as to when service can be fully restored- even their support page is failing to properly load due to this issue.
We are closely monitoring the situation, however, because this is an issue with a third-party provider, we are limited in the solutions that we can provide. If you would like to take immediate action to resolve this issue, we recommend and can assist in migrating your DNS hosting to a different DNS hosting provider, such as Cloudflare.
